Barbara Smurzynski, LPC, NCC, BCC has a Master of Arts Degree in Community Counseling from Governor’s State University, University Park, IL and is Choice Theory/Reality Therapy Certified (CT/RTC). In December 2011, Barb became a Board Certified Coach with the Center for Credentialing & Education. Barb has worked with adults, teenagers, children, couples, and families. She has provided coaching with her Church since 2003. She has run workshops and support groups dealing with building a healthy relationship with your partner, blended families, divorce recovery, making friends, and transitioning into college. Barb has a passion for helping people learn how to grow and overcome life events. She believes that relationships and making good choices are key to having a healthy life. She is avid about providing a safe and comfortable coaching environment in order for her clients to grow and become successful through the coaching process.
Amy Henderson, MA, LPC, NCC, has a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Governors State University, University Park, IL and is Choice Theory/Reality Therapy Certified (CTRTC). Amy works with adults, children, couples, and families. Amy especially loves working with teenagers and parents, helping guide them to healthier, more connected relationships with themselves and each other. She believes in creating an environment that is safe and nurturing, as well as supportive and challenging, in order to empower clients see their choices that may improve their life and relationships.
Over the course of the past 30 years Denise has held various positions in the business world as a Paralegal, Office Manager and Administrative Assistant for various businesses and individuals. In 2005 she left the corporate world and established her own business providing administrative support, website design & maintenance, eCommerce, marketing, desktop publishing and much more, including coaching to small business owners.
